With a compact design and simple interface, the Point-of-use Ionizing Blower Model 6421A is an easy
solution to electrostatic charge problems. Suitable to be mounted in tools and even process machinery,
the blower requires very little maintenance and needs no calibration. The unobtrusive blower is the first of its kind designed as a permanent point-of-use device.

IsoStat technology makes Simco-Ion blowers the most reliable ionizers available. IsoStat enables them to operate without grounding wires or cables and still maintain ionizer balance. The blower’s internal emitter points are electrostatically shielded to eliminate field-induced charging. Steady-state DC ion emission provides fast discharge with low airflow, for greater operator comfort.

Efficient Versatility
With a balance of better than ±30V, the Model 6421A can reduce
static charge of ±1000V down to 100V in approximately six seconds
at a distance of one foot. This superior performance means that the
Model 6421A effectively controls static charge wherever you need
it: mounted around the workstation, inside or on top of production
equipment, and in the smallest of areas of your application.
IsoStat Technology
Simco-Ion IsoStat Technology guarantees intrinsically balanced
ionization and eliminates complicated feedback circuits. Ionizers
incorporating this technology never need calibration and require very
little maintenance. IsoStat is based on a law of physics, Conservation
of Charge, which states that charge cannot be created or destroyed
in an isolated system. By solating the ionizer’s emitter points from
ground, IsoStat ensures equal numbers of positive and negative ions.
